About

Ekjut has been a vibrant force in the world of performing arts since its inception in 2014. Rooted in the belief that theatre and cultural expression are powerful tools for social change, Ekjut has brought communities together through compelling plays, workshops, and artistic collaborations.

Over the years, we’ve staged numerous original and adapted productions that reflect contemporary issues, celebrate local heritage, and foster dialogue across diverse audiences. Our work spans street theatre, stage performances, and educational programs designed to engage, inspire, and empower individuals—especially the youth.

At Ekjut, we don’t just perform—we provoke thought, nurture talent, and build platforms for voices that often go unheard. Driven by a passion for storytelling and social impact, we continue to evolve as a space where art meets action.

Mission

To harness the power of performing arts as a catalyst for social awareness, education, and community building. We strive to create inclusive spaces for expression, nurture emerging talent, and tell stories that challenge perspectives and inspire action.

Vision

To build a culturally vibrant and socially conscious society where theatre and the arts are accessible to all, and where every voice—regardless of background—has the opportunity to be heard, celebrated, and empowered.
